A. This site represents people who have agreed to work with us, its not a general portal, you will find links to portals on two pages portals-general and portals - shopping.
Q why is witchcraft sites featured more than other religions.
A. simply because more people interested in the craft are interested in co-operating to make more information available for you. as other join in the balance may change.
Q it is often said that you get what you pay for, so is the courses referred to here likely to be poorer than those available commercially.
A. No, when someone writes an item that is sold, only those who want to learn the subject will buy and read it, while with a free course often people with knowledge will check it out, often leading to suggestions and improvements. Its often not to do with commercial viability but more to do with the desire of the person creating it. You can for example buy ebooks of equal quality to those being given away, neither is better than the other. There are many authors and would be authors, who look forward to creating material but not to constantly having it returned from publishers, so will choose to forgo the small royalties in order to make their work available.
Q I (or a relative) wrote a book some years back that is now out of print, can I make it available again via your system.
A. Most likely, you or we would have to check the publishers options etc, and any restrictions, but normally where a book goes out of print all rights return to the author or their decedents. We or the Worldwide Library would like to talk to you about it.
Q Do you have to be over a set age to take part.
A No we have no age, or other restrictions on participation
Q My spelling is poor, will my material be returned because of this.
A No, we would correct it to standard English. This could be British English, American English or a mixure of the two.
Q I have a complaint about some content you send people to what should I do.
A Tell us, as long as its not just intolerance, such as a religious objection to us including site of another belief. If its a valid criticism you might also like to tell the site concerned, and they I am sure would correct any errors that were pointed out. Many words and terms do tend to mean slightly different things to different groups, and for some words there is no definition that all who use it can agree upon. Although we check out all sites before we link to them, they might change so your comments are always looked at.
