Working together it is possible to achieve projects that one person on their own would have no chance of doing. You can make a real difference and will be able to see the added benefits you have been able to help to provide.
Below we have listed a number of sites where volunteers are desperately wanted.

Basically we want people to write courses or reference sites, or to help others in a project of any kind that provides information. You do not necessarily need to have any web development skills.
New Atlantis - has a wide range of projects, see the main web site to see sub sites and information wher you can help. They are also pleased to hear from anyone with any ideas for new projects providing the idea comes with the offer to help put it into practice.
Start-page. Start page has a very large number of projects that could do with your help, but the largest is in selecting sites to feature on its button pages and adding the back up lists of sites. You get to become an editor looking after one or a number of topics, so see you name on the page. You also can if you wish add articles and list on the topic. See the UK start page site for information. They also want list editors for several of the sub sites.
Worldwide-library is a project to create and make available many thousands of books as ebooks to everyone. Libraries, colleges and otters will be able to mirror their site making free ebooks available world wide. They need people to convert text, or help in finding books, getting copyright permissions etc. they are also looking at putting many new books up that have not been published before.
Video on the net - one of the next areas to grow in a large way will be video on broadband. two sites exist to co-ordinate work in this are, these are www.video-channel.org and www.witchcraft-channel.org
Witchcraft. Both the School of witchcraft and the Academy of Witchcraft have authoring sites and welcome people to take part in building and improving the sites. These sites are school author site (aimed at adults) Academy author site (aimed at teens). Joint projects you can also help with are on Witchpages and Hedge-witch. a number of other projects exist that you may be able to work with see the Traditional Craft Association site at www.book-of-shadows.org
